Will I be visible on camera?

No. Unlike some of our other programming, API webinars are view-only, meaning only the speakers appear on screen.

Who can attend a webinar?

Anyone can attend an API webinar. However, in some cases, registrants must be approved by the API in the interest of the personal safety of some of our speakers.

What is the fee to participate in an API webinar?

There is no fee to participate in our webinar series.

What language will be used to communicate during the webinar?

All webinars will be conducted in the English language. Translations will be provided during presentations by non-English speakers.

What do I need to participate in a webinar?

To participate in our webinars, you will need a computer with speakers (internal or external) and an internet connection. A tablet or smart phone will also enable access to the webinar. You also have the option to join by dial-in from any phone.

How will I access the webinar?

Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive an email with information about how to access the webinar. Accessing the webinar is easy, and you do not need to download the Zoom application in order to join.

Will I be able to ask questions?

Participants may send questions at any point during the presentation. In addition, a live Q&A will follow the panel presentations. You can participate in the Q&A by audio or using the Q&A box to type in a question.

I am unable to attend the live webinar. Can I view a recording of the webinar at a later time?

API webinars are not recorded unless otherwise noted. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
