$500 million from @USAID has failed to produce significant levels of return of Assyrians to the Nineveh Plain post-ISIS. Assyrians are only returning in large numbers where there are conditions of security and stability under the NPU. Please support the NPU. @YourRep
Successful policies are built on the ability to identify meaningful solutions when they arise, and possessing the courage and leadership to pursue those solutions. Assyrians need courage and leadership from you, @YourRep, because the solutions have already arisen.
The problems are demographic change, distrust and disenfranchisement. The solutions are locally derived security forces such as the NPU, local administration and local infrastructure development. Do you support the solutions?
